Overview of this Project
FRUV is a fictional beverage brand developed to explore bold, contemporary packaging design. The project focused on building a cohesive brand identity and a series of drink labels that communicate freshness, flavor, and energy. Through vibrant color palettes, expressive typography, and a clear layout system, the packaging was designed to stand out on shelves while remaining consistent and easy to navigate across multiple flavors.
The Challenge
The challenge was to create packaging that is visually bold and attention-grabbing while remaining clear and easy to understand. The labels needed to communicate flavor and brand personality at a quick glance, stand out on crowded shelves, and remain consistent across multiple flavors. At the same time, the design had to avoid visual clutter and maintain strong readability at different sizes.
The Solution
The solution was to develop a cohesive label system built around bold color palettes, expressive typography, and a clear visual hierarchy. Each flavor uses distinct colors to create differentiation, while consistent layout rules ensure strong brand recognition. By balancing playful visuals with structured design, the final packaging feels energetic, readable, and cohesive across all variations.
The Result
The final FRUV packaging successfully communicates freshness and energy while maintaining clarity and consistency across all flavors. The label system creates strong shelf presence and makes each flavor easy to identify at a glance. This project strengthened my skills in branding systems, packaging design, and creating visuals that balance playfulness with function.
